The ERS Library
The ERS Library is a division of Tulare County Office of Education's Educational Resource Services (ERS) Department, falls under the administration of Samantha Tate and is managed by Debra Lockwood, Library Media Supervisor. To learn more about Educational Resource Services, Instructional Consultants, TCOE Student Events, and Professional Development, please visit http://commoncore.tcoe.org.
The ERS Library maintains a circulating collection of 28,000+ resources available for checkout by contracting districts, schools and educators. Delivery & pick up service is provided for contracting sites.
The ERS Library hosts the online ERS Portal found at www.erslibrary.org. The main version of this Portal, intended for contracting administrators, teachers and homeschooling parents, contains premium content such as: Learn360 Video Streaming, TeachingBooks, MackinVIA, Sora, ProQuest, ABC-CLIO, Education City, TumbleBooks/TeenBookCloud, WorldBook Online, and Gale's Opposing Viewpoints. The ERS Kids Portal (K-8) and ERS Teen Portal (9-12) separate these resources into grade-level appropriate student interfaces.
The ERS Library's Teacher Resource Center (TRC) is open to both contracting sites and the general public. The TRC features a poster printer, copiers, laminators, button makers, die-cut blocks & die-cutting machines, comb binding & spiral binding machines, and a generous assortment of materials for purchase to use in the classroom.
